Pros:

  • An excellent collection of local Canadian and American channels.
  • Good quality of VOD movies.
  • Good selection of VOD tv series.
  • Payment by Interac is available.
  • Movies and TV series grouped into one menu item.

Cons:

  • Recent update removed ability to enter time zone.
  • Email for Interac payments are not shown on Invoice.
  • Access guide while view channel will lock system.
  • Sometimes requires player to be power cycled to start working again.
  • Some movies are not in English.

Cod123:

My previous main television provider. I have used their service for a couple years and it is my go to choice. I have memorized most of my favourite channels.  I have discontinued the service due to the lack of new movies.

Pros:

  • An excellent collection of local Canadian and American channels.
  • Good quality of VOD movies.
  • Good selection of VOD tv series.
  • Channel guide is easy to use and quick.
  • Time shifting is easy to use.
  • Payment by Interac is available.
  • Movies and TV series grouped into one menu item.

Cons:

  • Some of the 24hr TV show channels are low quality.
  • Some channels on the guide have the wrong information.
  • Recently the number of new movies have been decreasing.
  • Email for Interac payments are not shown on Invoice.

IPTV Trends:

This provider was my secondary television provider. I used their service as my main classic TV series provider.  I dropped them when they switched to only allow payments via cryptocurrency.

Pros:

  • A good collection of local Canadian and American channels.
  • Large collection of VOD movies and series.
  • Many classic movies and series.
  • Many international channels.
  • Searching TV channels is possible.

Cons:

  • Channel guide is for one channel at a time and sometimes locks up the device.
  • Initial loading of channel list can take a long time.

LEMO:

This provider used to be my secondary television provider. I used their service as my main classic TV series provider.  I dropped them when they switched to only allow payments via cryptocurrency.

Pros:

  • A good collection of local Canadian and American channels.
  • Large collection of VOD movies and series.
  • Many classic movies and series.
  • Many international channels.
  • Inexpensive

Cons:

  • Channel guide is for one channel at a time and sometimes locks up the device.
  • 24hr TV show channels are grouped into several groupings.
  • Some movies are lower quality or camera grabs.
  • Initial loading of channel list can take a long time.
  • Only allows payment via cryptocurrency.

KEMOSAT:

Pros:

  • An excellent collection of local Canadian and American channels.
  • Large collection of VOD movies.
  • Many UK and Australian channels
  • Inexpensive

Cons:

  • No VOD for tv series
  • Provider doesn’t accept VISA or PayPal
  • Some movies are lower quality or camera grabs
  • Doesn’t accept VISA

USA IPTV:

Pros:

  • Nice interface
  • Good selection of American channels
  • VOD videos include subtitles and alternate audio tracks

Cons:

  • Canadian channels are mostly SD
  • No “All Channels” list.
